When In Berlin…

Sunny, yet cold weather made a perfect opportunity to have a little photo-shoot in Berlin. His girlfriend decided on a pair of black over the knee biker boots, (which I think is a rather cool model for him). His boots was paired with grey jeans a grey hoodie and a black winter jacket.

This was an all-day event where we visited several places, and we tried to pay attention to see how the surrounding people reacted on his outfit. And I can honestly say we couldn’t see a single eyebrow being raised. Perhaps it would have been different had he worn stiletto heels, but these flat heeled overknee boots was not creating any reactions at all.

I’m curious – what is your opinion on the outfit?

  1. The outfit works quite well. It retains its metropolitan male identity. it doesn’t surprise me, though, that no one would bat an eye in Europe. It’s here in the states that the perceptions or stigmas need to change. At this point in my life, when I’m out and about, I’m in boots. That would be generally 90 to 95 percent of the time. And, they are over the knee and higher. I think I’ve culled a reputation for that. hm. Rock on!

  2. Yep, works fine. And shuts out cold wind from legs in winter.
I don’t see why guys should be expressly singled out and condemned to have cold feet.
